About The Event
Walk description:
Join us on our walk up Ben Macdui, the second highest peak in the British Isles!
We will be approaching the mountain from Speyside, having started at the Cairngorm Mountain Upper Car park (please use the lower car park for overflow). The route involves crossing the vast and exposed Cairngorm plateau, a rolling arctic wilderness. It is a popular route but requires excellent navigation skills. We will be hiring a mountain leader to see us safely up the mountain, but we must stress that you are fully responsible for ensuring you are mountain fit and fully kitted out to take on whatever the mountain may throw at us.
This walk will be taking place as part of Abbie Bikes Britain project where Abbie will be biking the length and breadth of the country and climbing the highest point of each National Park to raise awareness about mental health…
