Join us for a sunrise walk up Snowdon, the highest point in the British Isles outside the Scottish Highlands. Snowdon is one of the most popular mountains in Wales and with its 1085m and this 9 mile walk will see us summit as the sun rises to reveal a spectacular panorama all around!

Join us on our sunrise walk up Snowdon, at 1,085m the highest peak in Wales!
Gathering at the Llanberis Pay and Display car park in the dark, we will do a final kit check to ensure everyone has enough warm layers, food and water, before beginning our climb up Snowdon via the Llanberis Path. This route is the longest and most gradual of the six main paths to the summit of Snowdon, and offers fantastic views of Cwm Brwynog, Llanberis and over the Menai straits towards Anglesey (on the way up it will be dark... so more likely the views will be visible during our descent!)
The path mainly follows the Snowdon Mountain Railway track, and goes by Hebron, Halfway and Clogwyn stations. Before the railway was opened in 1896, visitors employed guides to lead them to the summit along this path on mule-back. A remarkable geological…
