New for Spring 2022 we are proud to offer our Official WILD Bushcraft Knives!
Our knives are completely handmade with each piece taking around 5 days to complete. The blades are adapted from a Swedish brand of high end carbon steel general purpose blades sold commercially. Our blades are 2 inches long and 2.3mm wide. Because they're carbon steel, they work excellently with ferrous rods to ignite tinder when fire starting.
Each handle is made from seasoned yew from a tree cut down in 2014 by our crafter in West Oxfordshire on the edge of the Cotswolds. They are totally unique in that each handle comes from a different section of the tree, thus leading to no two handles being the same - some are lighter, others darker; each pattern is niche to each knife.
Our logo is then laser etched into the wood.
Our knives have been expertly crafted by our crafter who has spent over 10 years making various wood handles for camping/bushcraft knives.
With a large handle for confident grip and a short blade for economic and immediate use of the users forearm energy means the cut is precise, controlled, safe and easy. The carbon steel blade keeps a sharp edge for longer than other metals, thus providing the user with confidence in their experience when creating and finishing enjoyable projects.
